It is a success story of evolutionary change – the change of a software development team in SmartIT (www.SmartIT.bg) company towards Agile and Kanban practices. It was a value-driven journey that was powered by the strong leadership of the team members and their desire to serve end customers in the best possible way. In several months, using the Kanban Maturity Model, the team and the organization managed to address two business objectives:
- To improve collaboration on complex tasks requiring multidisciplinary IT teams;
- To establish and maintain predictable smooth workflow through Kanban delivery board.
The success of the team motivated the senior management of the company to get deeper with Kanban as well as extend its adoption wider in the company.
